THAT CHRISTMAS BIZ
There is mischief afoot!
No need to stay put
when Christmas is a-coming
(and neighbors hump drumming),
but much as it hurts, say this I will:
I'm skipping Christmas.
All I need is a pill
to run for the woods
to kick back and be gone.
I'm just not in the mood —
not ready, if you will,
to be misunderstood,
though a crime it sure is.
