  1. It is interesting how the movie has actually flopped real hard as it needs to earn over 2 billion just to pay off what it cost, which means that it would bring at least some meager earnings to the studio only if it goes over 2,5 billion, and yet nobody is allowed to say that publicly, they erase comments stating the truth. Disney really owns everything! Cannot stand Cameron and his arrogance.

    1. They erase comments? Why am I not surprised?

    2. Variety and Deadline will never publish any comment that does not suit their Western agenda or their sponsors (aka Disney and Marvel). They even erase comments against that disgusting brat and murderer Prince Harry.

  2. It is about to break even and part of that applies to the next in the series, which is partially filmed. The first Avatar was a slow build, as this one is also. Plus a large portion of China market has yet to see the film since they are all sick with Covid. (Some areas, over 80% have it.)
Sorry it didn't grab you. I was enthralled throughout the whole film. Cameron rocks, along with Christopher Nolan.

    1. I'm glad you liked it, Alex. Wish I did too. T1, T2, Aliens, Abyss... I do love those.

  3. I didn't enjoy the first one and didn't plan on watching this one. I felt like I was being preached to during watching it and I really hate that.

  4. Well I won't be going to watch that then, Blue. Even though they are blue too! I'd rather save my money and watch Pinocchio on telly.

    1. You may like it. If you like water, this flick'll make you tick. If blue is king, this is your thing. I did like the look of it, though. It is gorgeous. It just made me fall asleep, is all.

Hey, so good to hear from you again, Jules Dear.

  5. Hi Blue - I have been wanting to see this movie. I heard the visuals are amazing. I just haven't had time to see it. It's filled with shades of blue. I really enjoyed the first one. I did hear it was very long 3 hours, perhaps, that is what put you to sleep - True

    1. The visuals are excellent. It just wasn't my thing, is all. A snoozefest. What put me asleep was, well, nothing happened I didn't see coming a mile away. I fell asleep at least five or six times.

  6. This one might end up being a plane movie for me at some point

  7. I didn't like the first one. We only bought it because 3D dvds were new at the time and it was one of the first ones available. I wanted to die by the time it was over I was so friggen bored. Definitely wasn't going to subject myself to that torture for another film.
